Step 1: Check to see if the bit is still in the chuck.

The first thing you need to do is check and see if the bit is still in the chuck. If it is, then you can try to loosen it using a pair of pliers.

Step 2: Loosen the chuck with a pair of pliers.

If the bit is still in the chuck, then you will need to use a pair of pliers to loosen the chuck. Grip the body of the drill with one hand and grip the jaws of the pliers with your other hand. Twist them back and forth until you are able to remove the bit from the drill.

Step 3: Remove any broken pieces from around or inside of the chuck.

Once you have removed the bit from the chuck, take a look at it to see if there are any broken pieces around or inside of the chuck. If there are, then you will need to remove them before you can put the drill back together.

Step 4: Reassemble the drill.

Once you have removed all of the broken pieces from around or inside of the chuck, it is time to reassemble the drill. Start by putting the chuck back on the body of the drill and making sure that it is tight. Then, put the sleeve back on top of the chuck and twist it until it is tight. Finally, screw on the housing cap and tighten it with your fingers.

Step 5: Test to see if the bit is still loose in the chuck.

Now that you have reassembled the drill, it is time to test to see if the bit is still loose in the chuck. Grip the body of the drill with one hand and grip the jaws of the pliers with your other hand. Twist them back and forth until you are able to remove the bit from the drill.

Step 6: If needed, use a pair of pliers to tighten the chuck.

If the bit is still loose in the chuck after testing it, then you will need to use a pair of pliers to tighten the chuck. Grip the body of the drill with one hand and grip the jaws of the pliers with your other hand. Twist them back and forth until you are able to tighten up Chuck enough so that the bit does not come out easily.\

Bonus Step: Test to see if the bit is still loose in the chuck.

If after testing it, you find that the bit is not coming out easily from the Chuck, then there is no need for you to tighten up Chuck any further or use a pair of pliers on it. All you have to do now is test whether your drill works properly by putting in another screw and seeing if it goes all way through with ease before using it again.

What To Do If The Bit Still Sticks Out

If your bit is still sticking out after testing it, then don’t worry. You can easily fix the problem by using a screwdriver to push back down on the broken piece until you feel it become flush with the inside of Chuck again.

If there are more than one pieces that need to be pushed back into place, then simply repeat this process for each piece until they are all pushed in evenly and smoothly against the interior wall of Chuck once again.
